Hello, there!

I am Alexxis Bryant, the owner and operator of Made of Honor LLC. I am a wedding coordinator serving the Springfield/Joplin/Stockton Lake areas. As I introduce myself and my business, I’m filled with excitement to  share Made of Honor’s story, and a piece of my soul with you!

I’d like to start by saying that I’ve always been the most sentimental person I know. From an early age I did all I could to preserve memories to help me remember the treasured, precious moments in my life. Not only am I sentimental, but I’m also a big romantic. I love love and all the unique and special ways in which people share and experience it. 

In 2017, I graduated high school with the plan to study respiratory therapy. I had earned enough college credits to enter Missouri State University as a sophomore that fall, but I soon realized my heart was not in the what I had thought was my future career. But I didn’t let this stop me. My journey had taken a turn, but it hadn’t ended. 

Fast forward to 2020, and I was managing a bank. It wasn’t what I’d planned for myself, but I loved my customers and employees, and found the opportunity to help other people achieve their goals to be so fulfilling. Not only did I find joy in being in such a social, fast-paced environment, but I learned how to manage people of different backgrounds and ages, to make hard decisions with accuracy and efficiency, lead large and complex projects, all while doing so with poise and professionalism.

In spring of 2022, the love of my life proposed to me. Immediately after our engagement, I realized how much I enjoyed the planning, organization, and management of weddings. It became my dream, my passion.  Since I was a little girl, I’d been preparing for the big day and I wanted everything to be perfect.

However, I ran into an issue— I couldn’t be two places at once. 

Despite the time, dedication, and love that I put into planning my big day, the friends and family that offered to help struggled to bring my vision to life. I learned the importance of a Day-Of coordinator a little too late and although my wedding was beautiful, details that were important to me were missed.

That’s when Made of Honor LLC was born. I founded the company in 2022, shortly after my engagement, but became pregnant later that year. I pushed off the launching of the business. I wanted to wait until after my pregnancy and postpartum experience so that I could dedicate myself to being a mom— another one of my dreams. Since then, I’ve educated myself in wedding planning/coordination services, networked, and shadowed various vendors in the wedding industry. Most importantly, I discovered my true calling of making couples’ wedding days even more special by bringing their dreams to life, down to the smallest details. My mission is to give my couples all of the magic of their big day, without stress or worry. My promise is to give you your happily ever after.
